2019 Scholarships

Miss Carly Campbell is the 2019 recipient of the Loudoun Fair & Associates scholarship award in the amount of $3,000. She is a graduate of Loudoun Valley High School. Carly has been an active 4-H member for ten years in the 4-H Beef Club and 4-H Goat Club. Carly has served in multiple leadership positions within the 4-H Goat Club, including President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Historian. In June 2018, she was inducted as a 4-H All-Star, the highest honor within 4H. Carly has consistently demonstrated dedication to the annual Loudoun County Fair by serving as Youth Agriculture Superintendent, Youth Committee Member, and Youth Fair Superintendent. In addition to her service as a leader and role model in 4-H and the fair, Carly has also been active in her high school and has volunteered many hours in the greater Loudoun community. This fall Carly will be attending Virginia Tech where she plans to study Agricultural Science. The Loudoun Fair & Associates Board of Directors congratulate Carly on being selected as a scholarship winner for 2019 and wish her much success in her future endeavors.

Miss Katherine Vanik is the recipient of the Loudoun Fair & Associates 2019 scholarship in the amount of $2,000. Katie is a graduate of Broad Run High School and has been a member of the Temple Hall Sheep Club for 7 years. Katie has served in multiple leadership roles within her club including President, Secretary, and Treasurer. In addition to her local 4-H leadership roles Katie has also represented 4-H at the state level on the Virginia 4-H State Cabinet. In June 2016 she was inducted as a 4-H All Star-the highest honor a 4-H member can achieve. In addition to her leadership within 4-H, Katie served in multiple leadership capacities within the Girl Scouts and the Broad Run Marching Band. Katie will be studying Veterinary Science at Christopher Newport University this fall. The Loudoun Fair & Associates Board of Directors congratulate her on being selected as a scholarship winner for 2019 and wish her the best in her future endeavors.

Miss Calle Junker is the recipient of the Loudoun Fair & Associates 2019 scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Calle is a graduate of Woodgrove High School. She has been a member of 4-H for 8 years in the Canterlopes Club, Rabbit Hopping Club, Leaps and Squeaks Club, and Forage Club. Calle has served in multiple leadership roles within her clubs including President,Vice President, Reporter, and Secretary. In addition to her leadership locally, Calle represented Loudoun County at the 2018 VA 4-H Congress. In June 2019 she was inducted as a 4-H All Star. Calle is recognized for academic and athletic performance. She holds multiple athletic school records in track and field. Calle’s desire to help others is evident in her broad community service including volunteering regularly within her community and church. Calle will be studying Engineering at the California Institute of Technology this fall. Miss Eleanor Harrison is the recipient of a Loudoun Fair & Associates 2019 scholarship in the amount of $500. Eleanor is a graduate of John Champe High School. She has been a member of 4-H for 10 years in the Dairy Club and Forage Club. Eleanor has served in multiple leadership roles within her tenure in 4-H, including President, Treasurer, Reporter, and Secretary. Eleanor is recognized amongst the dairy judging community and has won multiple 4-H awards at the state level. Eleanor will be studying Dairy Science at Virginia Tech this fall. The Loudoun Fair & Associates Board of Directors congratulate her on being selected as a scholarship winner for 2019 and wish her the best in her future endeavors.

  • Credit cards will be accepted at the front gate.
    The Loudoun County Fairgrounds is private property.
    Firearms are not permitted. Only sworn law enforcement officers are exempted from this policy.
    No pets are allowed on the fairgrounds. Service animals are welcome.
