Little Miss Loudoun County Fair Contest

Rules and Duties

  1. Each contestant MUST be a resident of Loudoun County.
  2. Each contestant MUST be a member of a Loudoun County 4-H club.
  3. Contestants must be the age of 8 – 11 the day of the contest (July 24, 2016).
  4. Contestants will be judged on 4-H and Fair involvement, personality, and poise.
  5. Winner is required to carry title of Little Miss Loudoun County Fair in any other events she participates.
  6. Winner must be at the 2016 Fair all week to present awards.
  7. Contestants MUST attend the practice for pageant held on July 24, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Show Barn.
  8. Registration Deadline: July 17, 2016.
  9. Entries will be limited to the first 15 applicants.

Introduction
Contestants will be introduced using the information provided on the application as they walk across the stage.

Round 1 (Causal Attire)
Contestants will be asked a question about 4-H or their animals/project that they are given upon acceptance of application.

Round 2 (Evening Attire)
Contestants will be asked a question about the Fair that they are given upon acceptance of application.

** Contestants in this category are required to wear an age appropriate dress.

Junior Miss Loudoun County Fair Contest

  3. Contestants must be the age of 12 - 15 the day of the contest (July 24, 2016).
  4. Contestants will be judged on 4-H and Fair involvement, personality, and poise.
  5. Winner is required to carry title of Junior Miss Loudoun County Fair in any other events she participates.
  6. Winner must be at the 2016 Fair all week to present awards.

Miss Loudoun County Fair Pageant

Rules and Duties

  1. Each contestant MUST be a resident of Loudoun County.
  2. Each contestant MUST be a member of a Loudoun County 4-H club.
  3. Contestants must be at least 16 years of age by July 24, 2016, and not over 19 years of age by January 1, 2016.
  4. Contestants must have never been married, nor had any children, and must be females who have always been females.
  5. Contestants must be of good moral character, never been convicted of any crime, never had any criminal charges pending against them, and never done any act or engaged in any activity which is or could be characterized as dishonest, immoral, indecent, or in bad taste.
  6. Contestants will be judged on 4-H and Fair involvement, personality, and poise.
  7. Winner must be at the 2016 Loudoun County Fair all week to hand out ribbons and awards according to the Fair schedule of events.
  8. The winner may compete in January 2017 at the Virginia Association of Fairs Pageant.
  9. The winner will be required to carry the title of Miss Loudoun County Fair in any other events she participates.
  10. The winner will be present at the 2017 Miss Loudoun County Fair Pageant to crown the new winner.
  11. Contestants MUST attend practice for the pageant held on July 24, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Show Barn.
  12. Registration Deadline: July 17, 2016.
  13. Entries will be limited to the first 15 applicants.

Contestants will be asked an additional question about 4-H and their futures, and agriculture that will be given in between rounds. A third “Fun Fish Bowl” question will be asked on stage.
