Loudoun Fair & Associates has made the very difficult decision to cancel this year’s Loudoun County Fair due to the Covid-19 virus. We have been discussing the possible options for this year’s Fair since the pandemic began in March and have weighed all of the options and have come to the decision that it is in the best interest of our 4-H families, volunteers and the public to cancel. This was not an easy decision to make the committee and Board pushed back making the decision as long as we could, hoping we might somehow be able to move forward. We understand the disappointment that comes with yet another cancellation for the kids and my heart goes out to each of them. It will make the 2021 LoCo Fair so much sweeter when we can all come together again for an amazing week!
With that said, LFA, the Fair Committee, and 4-H Extension Staff have been working to find an alternative outlet for our Loudoun 4-H kids to show and auction their project animals.
LFA is happy to announce that while we are unable to hold the fair, there will be a Virtual Show and Sale July 2020. More detailed information will be coming out over the next few days, so please be on the lookout. If you have questions please send your inquiries to superintendent@loudouncountyfair.com
Thank you for your understanding. I look forward to a time when we can all get together and have some fun at the Fair. See you at the fairgrounds in 2021!
